David Priddy

David Priddy

David Priddy has spent more than eighteen years in marketing and senior management positions. With experience gained in Australia and overseas, David is in great demand as a consultant on a variety of marketing subjects. Since 1998, David has devoted his attention to the area of Strategic Marketing focusing on Customer Relationship Management, Integrated Marketing, Brand Stewardship, Below the Line Activities, and Innovation Facilitation.

David completed a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration with a double major in Marketing and Information Systems at Griffith University in 1989. The latest leading edge thinking and use of traditional marketing and consumer behaviour tools has provided an excellent foundation for his career. In 2006, as one of a select few Australian business managers, David was trained in Lyon, France in the latest breakthrough methods of creative thinking. These structured innovation tools and techniques give clear processes in deriving opportunities in today's modern business environment.

In his first role as a senior manager in the electrical wholesale industry David was responsible for implementing dynamic strategies to revive sales in underperforming outlets. He was also pivotal in the identification and strategic positioning of new business opportunities and models.

In the mid 1990's David moved into the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) world as a sales and marketing manager for the international company SC Johnson and Sons. In this field he provided insights into sales processes which resulted in dramatic increases in revenue previously unidentified.

David moved from this fast-paced management position in the FMCG industry in the late 1990's to further his marketing career with the international giant Bayer. In this position he provided creative marketing solutions for the company enabling them to increase their market share and profits. David developed marketing, distribution channel, and account strategies utilising Australian and overseas business models.

David regularly features marketing articles in the Australian magazine Professional Pest Manager where he writes articles targeted at business owners.
